Relocating to a new country is quite a challenge, especially in Italy considering the procedures are exhaustive and quite long. Having Giovanna by my side not only facilitated my relocation, but it made it fun. She was with me the whole way, and assisted me with every small question I had. I had other colleagues who took care of the process themselves, and talking to them I realized that having a professional like Giovanna by your side is priceless! Finding a home I like in Milan wouldn't have been possible without her, since she's a local who knows the city better than most. I never had to worry about new utility contracts, long lines to register in the comuna, finding a medico base or any other relocation activities, Giovanna would always just ask the minimum required documents and presence from me and it would be taken care of. Apart from her professional capacity, it was pleasant to have her guide me through the city's general history and culture during our house hunting and other parts of the process, and she really provides a great social educator in understanding and having an insight of the "milanese lifestyle". A great person who even today, about a year and a half after my relocation, I still look to for advice and we remain great friends.
